Founding Story
How GKC Foundation Began
GKC Foundation was established by Gottipati Kalyan after witnessing first-hand the financial burden that spinal cord injuries and strokes place on patients and their families. Medical costs, rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, and lost income create a crisis that compounds an already life-altering condition.
Driven by a deep sense of responsibility, Gottipati built GKC Foundation from the ground up — starting small, helping one family at a time. The foundation's name carries his initials as a personal commitment: every decision, every disbursement, every application reviewed reflects his direct accountability to those in need.
Our work is guided by the conviction that compassion must be matched with accountability. Funds entrusted to us must reach those who need them most — directly, transparently, and without unnecessary delay.
Today, GKC Foundation reviews applications personally and provides aid directly to verified patients and caregivers facing genuine hardship. We remain a lean, mission-focused organisation — because money spent on overhead is money not delivered to a patient.
